Tropical Storm remnants expected to hit SoCal Sunday (Update: Game will go as scheduled)
I'm not sure it does.
What are you suggesting? That the media made up a Cat 4 storm?
Of course not. I am however saying that the media is hyping it up as if a category 4 hurricane hitting California is akin to a storm hitting a state below sea level, like a cat 4 is going to hover over it for hours/days before falling apart, when in reality, a storm out that way will start falling apart BEFORE it even hits the land because of the water temps. Then when it starts hitting that 14-15k altitude, it will shred apart and be nothing but a bad thunderstorm by the time it hits L.A.
Yes, I acknowledge there will be bad conditions on the road, possible flooding, but again, we have seen worse game conditions and the show still goes on in severe weather, even when played in OUTSIDE venues, regardless of what’s happening in the surrounding areas.
As I said before, I will trust the team officials, league officials, not to mention city officials who haven’t even shut down schools out there for tomorrow as of yet.
