When it is time to cut down I hope we don't keep him just because he is a second rounder. Cut him and allow him to be a practice squad guy. He isn't ready period. There are 2 or 3 players that are playing better than him. Not hating on the guy and believe he needs time. But my eyeball test tell me he is not even close to being ready.

The coaches are seeing every rep in practice to go along with the games. A lot will go into making these decisions, and that includes projecting which of the young players have the higher ceiling.

I think people on this site are way too quick to anoint players and write players off. Foskey has a long way to go but if the coaches stick with him, it's because they believe he can get there.
