I don't disagree, but a weak line can be mitigated by a QB who can read defenses, process quickly, and deliver the ball before the line leaks. Carr has that ability. It appears that Haener does also, and that Jameis does not. Which may explain why Jameis and Haener have similar stats, with similar playing time, but Jameis has taken 5 sacks and Haener has taken none. In all fairness to Jameis though, I'd rather take 5 sacks than give away 1 turnover. JMO...

I completely agree, but I think it takes an elite passing QB to mitigate a weak line or a QB with the threat of running. I think Derek Carr is a very good QB, but I’m not sure I can say that he’s elite… yet! Hopefully he comes out and has his best season ever!
