That’s what I can to ask. How many starters played Sunday? I agree this looks more like a depth issue - which is not a small issue considering how banged up our linemen tend to get.
However, this offense seems to really rely on linemen that have a lot of versatility and can play numerous positions. So I feel like what we might see in preseason from the o-line isn’t totally reflective of what we’ll see in regular season.
Completely agree. Preseason is like buying a lottery ticket. Everyone buys one thinking they are gonna hit the jack pot. Hell, the First Ball {1st reg season game} has even played and we are assuming all is based off of past drawings {Preseason}.
I am not actually knowledgeable enough on lineman, except my thinking is IF PENNING has early problems that place Carr in too many of harms way, Wouldn't they use Stunts/Pulling, to sorta hide any deficiencies? Doesn't this allow him to run towards another area of Help?
