To me the Jets are the Knicks of the NFL.
Always want a Giants type level of respect and importance to the League, but in reality they are more like the Lions historically.
Even before Rodgers with the way Jets fans talk about the franchise, you’d think they’d have seven Lombardis in the trophy case.

This is fascinating to me. My in-laws are all Jets folks from NY and the way they talk about them reminds me of the way my dad would talk about the Saints prior to 2006 lol. I guess they’re just more realistic than most. They denigrate them constantly- they have absolutely zero hope for the franchise, even with the talent currently onboard. They send me memes like this all the time
