Are you willing to get the Covid vaccine when offered?

I want 5-10 years of independent data. You're right there have been billions of shots given. Short term data suggests it's safe. As I have stated previously, i had covid 2x and been fine. The second round was milder than the first time, with the first round being mild in itself.

My question to you is, why are you pushing so hard for everyone to get the shot? If you have it, arent you protected? It is proven that the shot doesnt eradicate the virus. It just makes the symptoms milder. My mom has the shot and boosted, she has cought it 3x. Father in lay shot and boosted, would wear 2-3 masks, secluded himself when he didnt have to be out, and staid away from family events. After catching it a 3rd time he decided to say screw it and just enjoy life.

So why this big push to make those of us that dont want it to feel like outcasts or that we are dumb for not getting it?
Once again from the Mayo link. I can respect you wanting 5-10 years, but if anything were bad to happen
it would have happened long before now. 3 years is enough evidence imho.

MYTH: I already had COVID-19 and recovered, so I don't need to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
This is not true, according to Dr. Abinash Virk, an infectious diseases specialist and co-chair of Mayo Clinic's COVID-19 Vaccine Allocation and Distribution Work Group.

"For the people who think that they've had COVID-19 and they don't need the vaccine, you still want to get the vaccine because it's going to give you long-term protection."
