Are you willing to get the Covid vaccine when offered?

No goal post moving here. The director of the CDC made inaccurate statements and her pwn agency corrected her. And regardless, the quotes you're using are dated. You won't find anything recent like that since we all know more now than we did then.
Right, and we also had detailed data then too. For example, from the CDC at that time (2021):
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/science/science-briefs/fully-vaccinated-people.html
Huge amounts of detail on the vaccine effectiveness at that time, which underlines how effective they were; which was highly, but not 100%. And unfortunately, as @Mr. Sparkle says, subsequently reduced by Omicron. We also found out about how much of a waning effect there is against protection against infection over time as well (hence subsequent booster campaigns).

But the point is, the details have been easily available this whole time. If someone is really doing their own research to find out about this stuff, and they're missing this stuff, all they're showing is that they're bad at research.

And I'll add, that goes the same for if they've 'done their own research' and haven't found out that the potential effects of catching Covid are far, far, worse than the potential effects of the vaccination.
