My question is this - how was the video evidence inconclusive to overturn the call - but the fumble recovery on the opening kickoff was conclusive enough to overturn and you couldn’t see the ball at all?
Consistency. We don’t want perfection as fans - we want consistency.
Yeah that was my question- I was in and out not watching every angle- but it sure seemed like the moment he gained control, his back was completely blocking the ball and we didn’t see the ball again until he was out of bounds
98% sure he had the ball, but that’s an inference - nothing definitive from video
