Well, I don't think that it was inevitable that he got injured again and if he did, that it was something requiring surgery, and in the first game. Possible certainly, probable perhaps, but absolutely certain, no - otherwise why wasn't he just cut a couple of weeks ago?

And while your argument has a perverse logic, I'm not comfortable with the notion that it's good that Turner got injured because, now that he's injured, we don't have to bother with him anymore and worry about him getting injured - and don't worry, we have a guy who's not injured but isn't as good or ready to produce right now and may never even develop.
