I guess it's pretty much my fault I had high expectations, With AK out this was his time to shine, Other then the last play of the game which he fumbled on he showed me nothing no wiggle at all.
That's not his game. He's not an explosive play waiting to happen. He's just a steady pro who is going to do his job. He's not going to put up huge numbers but he's going to do things to help the team win that don't show up on the box score.
And just in general, this offense isn't conducive to RBs putting up huge rushing numbers. We haven't had a thousand yard rusher since 2017. As good as AK is, his 100 yard games are few and far between. Now with these weapons stretching the field/creating space and a healthy O line, theoretically there should be more room to operate in the run game. It's going to be hard for Pete to commit to the ground game now that he has Carr and a bunch of dudes to throw to. We'll see.
