Mainly because of where he was drafted, and the interview he gave saying that he's looking to take the starting job. It's typical to take all of that and run with it.
You have to go off of what you see. Other than that catch that he had in preseason, I haven't seen anything else that jumps out at you about Miller.
With AK, you was able to tell pretty quick that he was going to be a good player.
I'd much rather people be patient and positive about these rookies than treat him like Ingram early on. Not all players develop and produce at the same rate. Some guys just need some time. We are way too fickle and impatient with these young guys.
