Nobody is dropping 40 every other week. In all of last year, there were only 22 40-point games out of 544 opportunities. Dallas led the way with four, and we saw what happened to them in the playoffs.

Also, during the Brees era, we had 34 40-point games over a fifteen year span, with the most being six in 2018. That's probably about as close to every other week as you'll get, and that was with a HOF QB under center.

Interesting fact that I pointed out already is that we were a run first, ball control team. In 17 and 18 time of possession was our main focus. Then we could easily put up burgers on lesser teams, but it was a byproduct of the overall philosophy, not our main focus as in 11-16.
