I don't like movies in general. I'm just not into fiction. (And by far most movies are totally fictional)
But you really didn't listen to what I said in the past. I have seen Jaws (in 75) and Return of the Jedi (in 83) at an actual movie theater. That Star Wars flick bored me to tears.
But I have watched a few movies on TV if they were based closely to a real life account. A case in point was Apollo 13. I was a big fan of the Apollo space program when I was a kid, and so I wanted to see how director Ron Howard was going to pull off a story like that.
I have also occasionally watch a portion of some movie on TV just to see a particular scene or two. Another case in point is when I wanted to see the flying scenes from the original Top Gun movie. As a pilot myself, there is a certain thrill out of seeing the world from that perspective. I can't wait until the new Top Gun movie comes on TV for the same reason.
