Just another day in New Orleans

I don't disagree with anything you've posted. But I don't believe that's the gist of this thread. Issues with the state are not causing Cantrell to use city property for personal means (such as sleeping with her police officer boyfriend). Issues with the state are not causing Cantrell to blow through city money on worthless trips so that she, her boo thang, and her buddies can have vacations on the city's dime. Issues with the state are not causing Cantrell to be under federal investigation. Issues with the state aren't causing the city council (that is a minority-majority organization) to constantly rein her powers in due to her corruption and scoffing of city rules. That's how I've seen and used this thread.

Cantrell has become the same thing she campaigned against and she deserves every bit of criticism she's received. And if the feds find dirt on her, she needs to go to jail.
I 100% agree with you. It is deflecting. The only reason I made the post above is because it is ultimately the fault of the voters that allow it to happen. Cantrell is horrible without the sabotage and could absolutely do better in just about every area.

The day she was reelected it went to an entirely different level of corruption.
