Bobby Hebert: The Next Few Games Will Determine Jameis Winston's Future And His Future Pay
In all honesty, Winston seemingly is more willing to scramble and run for positive yards, where as Carr keeps his eyes downfield. Neither guy seems to be able to "feel" the rush quite as well as Drew Brees did, but both are significantly better at it than Dalton.
I think Carr is better if we have an actual O-line, but Winston's ability (and willingness) to tuck the ball and run up the middle for positive yards when the pass protection breaks down gives us a different dimension to the offense than we have had so far this season.
I'm hopeful Winston plays well, saves our season, and his career, and Carr comes back to an offensive line finally gelling.
