I'm pretty sure that it was the first time that a team did it, because the commentators for the game said they had never seen a team run a play that was basically a rugby scrum. We were backed up against our goal line and needed some room. Pure Rugby scrum, and we picked up more than 5 yards. Can't understand why we never saw a play that got us more than 5 yards pinned against our end zone more than once, but that's Pete Carmichael for you.
