Sean Listened to or Followed the Example of the Wrong Bill

I agree that he or his current wife probably did not care for New Orleans. However, given the type of money Payton has and was receiving, he could have lived comfortably anywhere in the metropolitan area. No one was asking him to pick where he wanted to retire.,

If you have the money, would you rather live in the New Orleans area or Green Bay, or Detroit, Cleveland or any number of other NFL cities? He is Denver to be the head coach of an NFL team, which means that for much of the year he has no personal life. If the new Mrs. Payton is living in Denver, she may come to appreciate New Orleans a great deal more in the near future because Denver is not saying kind things about her husband. And unless Sean manages to draft high a quarterback and develop him, his Denver flirtation is going to destroy his reputation as an NFL coach.

And yes, I wish we had opted for Denver's first-round pick in 2024 rather than its 2023 first-round pick. I do like Bresee, but he is not a top 10 pick--and most important he is not a franchise quarterback.
