Israel (now broader Mid East discussion)

They randomly go into Gaza and imprison thousands of Palestinians from military orders and prosecuted in a closed military court. Some figures are as high as 1 in 5 Palestinians are arrested in their life life.

But they don’t call them hostages. They have been used in prisoner exchanges in the past. Women snd children are not off limits.

So it comes down to how you define hostage.

I’m sure many were probably bad people with bad intentions but the way it goes down is sketchy at best, they are arrested by people they can not vote for and many have no representation.
So, murky. Whereas Israeli citizens who are unquestionably innocent have been taken hostage for prisoner exchanges. It's very hard not to be, overall, pro Israeli going back to, as I said, my first awareness of terrorism. Such as, as I mentioned before, the 1972 Munich massacre and the events that lead to the senseless murder of Israeli-British Citizen Dora Bloch, on her way to NYC for her son's wedding in 1976 by Idi Amin.
