I’m not saying that it’s a good reason for the Saints to be non aggressive.
I’m saying it’s easier for franchises like the Eagles to keep focus when you have other teams making big moves (or keeping the appearance that they are) like the Cowboys.
They are always in the spotlight so by default the Eagles moves and standing are also always gonna be under a microscope.

It’s easy for management/ownership to think and fall into the trap of thinking they can win the division while the franchise is is neutral.
