He did a great job at directing the ball’s speed with the pace of his gunners, to an exact yard-line, for all of the punts to result in fair catches and minimal gain IN20.
Fortunately for the coverage unit, coaches don’t primarily evaluate punting by stat padding the most yards like we do as casual fans looking at individual yard stats in the box score. Instead, they measure punting overall by field position and return yards allowed for the team.
