Packers Tag DT Corey Williams

Well, that voids about 90% of the offseason predictions on this board.

Looks like we'll have to draft our studs.

Man that's bad, he was the primary target on this board, and your right...these rookies are gonna have to contribute next year we have to be real specific when we pick these guys, because they all are gonna have to have some type of role...I will say this, I'm a fan of building through the draft and I'd much rather of been a 7-9 team with our main contributors being 25yr old or younger on the team, then a 7-9 team with are main contributors pushing 30 or higher, when your young you always know your gonna get better and have room to improve, when your old u know you may of missed your window.

we can't draft and go through free agency picking players like were reloading, we gotta draft with the intent to add players who will help your franchise team continue a steady or rapid incline until you've reached the level of a NFL Champion, we draft to stay competitive, and we got lucky with a few signings and draft picks to draw attention to the franchise, but that's about it, we think we've arrived...we never really draft to compliment those draft picks do we? We never tried to team ricky with a franchise QB (like normal teams) followed by a WR for the Franchise QB, we always sign stop gaps and dress them up as "potentials to get better" but they never do, they always "almost" so potential enough for the front office to keep selling us fans wolf tickets.

You don't have to he the Dallas Cowboys to be committed to winning, any team can be...why does our front office always settle for consistently mediocre?

I know its early in the Sean Payton Era, but I want to see commitment from him, I want to see his stamp on this Franchise, will he be the type of guy who gets infected by this Franchise and there mediocre ways like Haslett?

Is he the Coach that gives us a championship? Its gotta happen for us sometime, when is it our turn?.....sorry I got real emotional there :gosaints:
