That first 36-yard punt was weak sauce. From the biggest Aussie punter fan fwiw.Shout out to Lou Hedley for a great game in field position and less than 2 yards a return. He did a great job at placing the speed of the ball with the pace of his gunners for the punts to result in fair catches and minimal gain IN20.
Fortunately for the coverage unit, coaches don’t primarily evaluate punting by stat padding the most yards like we do as casual fans looking at individual yard stats in the box score. Instead, they measure punting overall by field position and return yards allowed for the team.
