This was Carr/offense’s best game and their turning point

you talking that contested catch?

I just feel we had a much better synchronization of play calls, along with execution. Agree line played better which allowed for some progression. We also did a good job of targeting the middle.

For instance that AK choice route matched up vs LB who was taking away inside route. Play call was perfect to have LB isolated on AK. That's what we have been struggling with lately.

But line blocking better opens up options for PC and this offense. If he (PC) can see what to call and when based on our play (meaning line ) we might be ok. I just need to see consistency from all before I get giddy.
We haven’t always gotten the matchups we wanted, and even when we did, we would miss through some combination of bad o-line play combined with Carr not playing very well.

Also, things will look much more in sync when plays are working, it’s hard to set up the next play when the first play doesn’t work.

Going back to Kamara, the gripe I posted on one of these threads was Carr not taking advantage of a Kamara 1v1 matchup when it presented itself on the very next play, instead we forced it to Johnson. That was early season Carr trying to sneak back into the game, and he made another appearance later on that across the field throw to Olave on second down when it looked like ATP was there for the first right in front of him (not to mention he could have just scrambled).
