Kamara HOF'er?

Its hard for RBs to get into the HoF anymore. For a long time the HoF was overloaded with RBs and QBs and not so many players at other positions.

That theoretical 12K threshold also might go up with the change to a 17 game schedule.

Several RBs that arent in for comparison that were near the top of there tier when they retired...
  • Fred Taylor
  • Steven Jackson
  • Ricky Watters
  • Eddie George
  • Ottis Anderson
  • Shaun Alexander
  • Roger Craig
The 12K line is known as the Jim Brown line who amassed 12,312 in his career. It's considered an historical
mark and anyone who surpassed it has accomplished something special.

I do agree the added games have made this mark easier to obtain. Brown put up his numbers in only
nine seasons and 118 career games. When he retired after the 65 season he was almost 3000 yds ahead
of Joe Perry who was in 2nd place. Perry played 16 seasons and 183 career games. Yeah, Brown was
a special player and still is.
