Yea I heard that too, that was interesting and it makes sense. Prior to carr getting here we didn’t have redzone issues. This can work in a couple ways. It’ll make Carr want to throw dimes so he doesn’t have to give up the rock in the redzone. It’s also humbling to Carr, in a good way, and it spreads out the responsibility of scoring in the redzone on the entire offense and not just a Qb. It also tells me that they want to win in any way they can, and won’t let a Qb ego ruin things. Not saying Carr has a negative ego, but most QBs would feel humbled losing the keys. I don’t know if there’s any elite QBs that would willfully give up the rock in the redzone.
