Let Carr get the Offense to the red zone and then let Taysom / Ak finish the job

I think the idea is that while we might run the ball 80% of the time, that 20% chance of a pass keeps them at least a little honest. I confess though that I haven’t seen much of us using Taysom’s arm in the red zone and I’m not sure I’d want him to, outside of simple bootleg concepts. Turning the ball over gets a lot easier in a short field situation.
Yeah they're going to have to let Taysom pass a few times in the red zone to keep defenses honest. But just like you said, it needs to be simple roll out bootleg stuff. TE leaks out and Taysom hits him for an easy TD. If the pass isn't there then Taysom can run it if possible or throw it out of the back of the end zone.

They just need to put a few wrinkles on tape for defenses to think about. I'm so glad they were able to get that deep ball to Shaheed on tape. Taysom's deep balls look more like punts but it's still a threat. All we need is for defenses to hesitate for a split second before they sell out against the run. Make it tough on the LBers and Safeties. Make them think something like, "I know this dude is about to run the football. And I have a pretty good idea exactly where he's going. I just need to get there before he does. But what if he passes? Wait, what if it's a reverse? That dude is going in motion, what's that all about? What is Kamara doing over there?" The more a defender has to think about, the slower he plays. With Taysom at Wildcat we already have a numbers advantage. If you combine that with a schematic advantage then it's going to be hard to stop.
