The 12K line is known as the Jim Brown line who amassed 12,312 in his career. It's considered an historical
mark and anyone who surpassed it has accomplished something special.
I do agree the added games have made this mark easier to obtain. Brown put up his numbers in only
nine seasons and 118 career games. When he retired after the 65 season he was almost 3000 yds ahead
of Joe Perry who was in 2nd place. Perry played 16 seasons and 183 career games. Yeah, Brown was
a special player and still is.
