The Thing People Don't Say Taysom Hill

I didn't forget Jim Thorpe. He would have to be the Most Versatile Athlete of All Time, and arguably the Greatest All around Athlete Of All Time. He was an Olympian, a Professional Football/Baseball/Basketball Player. Sticking strictly to Football though, he didn't play at quite as many positions. His playing time was from 100 years ago.

Red Grange " The Galloping Ghost" would be another player to consider but again, not to the same extent. He dates back 100 years ago as well.
Not to the same extent but as for old school versatile players there is also:

Steve Van Buren a dominate RB and a great DB (his first 9 games he had 444 yds rushing and 5 INTs) and George Connor. My understanding is that George Connor could have made the HoF at any of 3 positions DT, LBer, or OT. He also has 76 return yards on 5 kicks, 89 yards receiving and 7 INTs.
