It's certainly not genocide, but If Israel ends up annexing Northern Gaza and doesn't allow the Palestinians to return to that land, then this will have been a textbook operation of ethnic cleansing. Genocide is only one method of ethnic cleansing.
If they do that, then I won't disagree, but again Israel has already made it clear they have no interest in occupying Gaza and expect Palestinians to return home after they deal with Hamas.
Now, if one doesn't believe Israel will keep their word, then ok.
