Us telling Israel to slow down, comes from a position of experience. They should listen.

Especially since we give them a few billion dollars each year.

In terms of geopolitical “morality” or ethics, being or acting hypocritical when you’re trying to lecture one nation on trying to behave correctly when you didn’t or haven’t, doesn’t add credibility to your arguments or sentiments. In fact, it often leads to the opposite where other interested, major parties just tune you out and see you as a discredited source.
