Daylight Saving Time possibly permanent 11/2023

Where I live about 95% of the kids are getting driven to school by a parent or guardian whether dark or light outside. If that’s the primary reason for switching the time twice a year, it’s a poor argument.
Same thing happens here. I try to avoid anywhere road that has a school on it because of it even if going around will add another mile or so to might job sight, If I don;t it takes 15 to 20 minutes longer, I grew up in the 7-'s in CT and if you live less than a mile from your school you walked. Parents didn't take or pivked you up unless there was a DR's appointment of something similar.
