Saints are 1st place in the NFC South thru 9 weeks after Saints Won + Falcons/Bucs losses
First place all alone and SSF is screaming to fire the head coach.
SMH at our “fans”
Being in the lead right now doesn’t tell the story of the real state of our team.
We’re playing an uber-easy schedule with key players missing for every opponent while we’ve be relatively healthy for this time of the season. Several of our losses so far this season have been by the whipping boys of most other teams that our opponents have played.
And, our foes in the NFC South have been as decimated & anemic as any other teams on our schedule. Yet we have only a ONE GAME lead over a team that has already had to replace their starting quarterback.
Yes, the Saints may find a way to pull out the NFC South crown this year. But it won’t be because we are a true playoff contender, nor are we getting the most out of the pool of talent that we have on our team. Every Saints fan wanted Dennis Allen to be the real thing and have him give us some legitimate hope for the future of this team. But no one feels that way about the Saints under his lead.
I for one don’t blame anyone who is still calling for his removal from the job. Do you see anything positive coming from this regime for the future?
