Whether it was Superman's Triangle Era under John Byrne or Denny O'Neil's control of the Batman room as group editor, those were the best of times. These days, sheet is all over the place and you have no idea what, where, or when something is going on.

It was annoying to me.

If there was a Superman storyline it would be in Superman, Action Comics, Man of Steel, then there'd be a one off continuation in one or more of the Batman titles (Batman or Detective Comics, etc.), maybe Justice League too

It just got to be too much for me. I'd stop following then wait for the trade paperback to come out with the whole arc to come out (which didn't always happen)
