Saints are 1st place in the NFC South thru 9 weeks after Saints Won + Falcons/Bucs losses

Concerns and criticism are normal of course. A lot of the takes about the penalty just looks like pent up, unleashed gripes about DA while they already want to see him gone. It’s a pattern from the anti DA crowd.

For the most part there’s silence on the board and no credit given to DA when the team has a relatively perfect win like the recent Patriots and Colts games. A lot of props are given to the star players and veteran team captains like the blowout and comeback wins are in spite of the HC. Then when there’s a questionable call people can’t wait to unload on DA. He’s not the only HC of a team with a winning record to make a mistake or two this season.

Everybody has different opinions after a game. But focusing a lot on 50/50 calls to the tone of fire DA isn’t usual and warranted after a team wins and moves to 1st place as more good matchups on the schedule are on the way.

I think when you say anti DA crowd you kind of lose me.....it's not anti DA as much as pro Saints....I've given credit to DA and his defensive staff for vastly improving our defensive takeaways.....but what else has he done really? We have yet to beat a playoff caliber opponent, we've lost to teams we should have beaten (Texans, Packers) and, don't know if it's irony, but with our turnover differential IMO we should have a much better record....if they continue to win I'll give DA plenty of credit, we'll see if that happens....

What I think a lot of us pro Saints fans feel is that we don't want the Saints FO/ownership to make the same mistake of holding onto an ineffective coach and staff for too long....if they can't make the playoffs with this schedule, in this division, he has to go, IMO.....if they do make the playoffs he's earned another year.....IMO
