This.

If Saints can't beat this team and this version of the minny team, then they are not a playoff team. Neither Dobbs or Hienecke are some kind of hidden gem.

I find it rather hilarious how many people find a low draft pick qb or a journeyman qb who has a modest stretch is the next big think.

Or even with Haener about how he is going to set the league on fire.

It hardly happens 99 percent of the time they barely play much other than that brief stretch
I think if they lose both these next two games they are not a playoff team (we SHOULD win both and I certainly hope we do). The ATL game is more important.

I think Dobbs' scrambling is a concern and MIN is better coached than ATL. But the point you reference about the full picture is spot on. There is a reason Dobbs has had 9 stints with 8 teams since 2017 (some where he never got off the practice squad). That is A LOT of teams who had a look at him and moved on. I do not think he is some hidden diamond in the rough ready to dazzle everyone (also, I watched some of the MIN/ATL highlights, ATL's tackling was atrocious). And better to face a team after an unlikely, emotional win than when they are in "Nobody believes in us!!!!" mode.

Heinicke has been on four teams since 2017. And people would be well advised to remember that even a guy like Trevor Siemian had one season where he had an 8-6 record with over 3400 passing yards and an 18/10 TD/INT ratio (not wow stats, but respectable). But we all saw that he had largely been relegated to backup duties for a reason. There's a reason teams keep moving on from Heinicke.
