Carr and completed air yards—a few plays from the Bears game

Pretty sure I eliminated the plays like the one you described (flowing away from the ball), which play from the OP shows that?
There might be 1 play where the defender flowing toward the ball open the receiver. Rest were good play called.

3rd Q 15:00 1st & 10
Great call against cover 2 zone. Read is the middle LB. If he carry Taysom, CGM is open underneath in the middle. If Mike stay home, Taysom is open deep middle. But Hurst lost as did Ram, forcing Carr to scramble.

Olave (bottom of screen) beat his man, made him stumble, before Carr finished his drop back. That’s a TD

3rd Q 3:27 1st & 10

Great call against zone. LB stayed home, Taysom is open. Like the 1st play in the 3rd Q, if Mike carry Taysom, CGM is open in the middle. If the top safety crash down, Olave is open on top. If the bottom safety defend Taysom, Bowden is open. But Ram got beat bad and no chance to step up to throw.

This is the play where the defenders flowed to the ball. Regardless, perfect call against that D. 3 vertical vs single high. The safety will help against Taysom. Olave beat his man, no safety help. Shot play to Olave.

7 man back to protect and still lost to 4 man rush.

4th Q 3rd & 4
Olave is wide open before Carr finished his drop back. Olave at the top of the screen with nobody within 10 yd.

Carr could also look the safety to CGM and throw to Shaheed, who is open over the middle.

4 vertical vs man. Good call. The vert clear out the middle, Williams is wide open with lots of green.

But Carr is locked onto CGM — gotta get the ball to yer playmaker in pressure situation. Of course, if Carr let the play develop, Williams have a good chance to pick up the 1st down.
