“Hauled off” is a bit loaded … makes it sound like the police had to subdue Thomas. Was he even cuffed?
Still think the cops on the scene might have been doing Thomas a solid by convincing him to remove himself from an escalating situation. Really curious to see how the Kenner PD will couch the arrest/detention in their report.
