A microcosm of Winston’s career

He's done it before and it's not new territory. No one is saying it's easy to do that. But he handled it well. The problem is those 2 interceptions he threw, particularly the second one, were shots that didn't need to be taken. First was a 3rd and 3 and second was a 1st and 10 on the 48. Neither shot was necessary, and both were well covered when he had better options underneath.

It's typical Winston. His body of work over the years can pretty well be encapsulated in his performance yesterday.
Perspective check; As others have noted, the biggest problem is the coaching staff, another problem is having $150 mil invested in a flawed, mid-at-best QB when that level of play could be had at replacement level salary.

Having a backup who will be gone next year throw 2 ints after cutting a 27-3 deficit to 27-19 in a horribly schemed passing attack is not good, but hardly in the top 5 of yesterday’s or this year’s problems.
