A microcosm of Winston’s career

Perspective check; As others have noted, the biggest problem is the coaching staff, another problem is having $150 mil invested in a flawed, mid-at-best QB when that level of play could be had at replacement level salary.

Having a backup who will be gone next year throw 2 ints after cutting a 27-3 deficit to 27-19 in a horribly schemed passing attack is not good, but hardly in the top 5 of yesterday’s or this year’s problems.
Certainly, I don't blame Winston for the loss, at all. I'm simply saying what we got from him yesterday is what we've usually gotten from him in the past. It was peak Winston.

The only time I've ever seen him play consistently well and with few turnovers was his injury shortened season when Payton had him as the starter from the jump. And Jameis was basically handcuffed to some degree to keep the turnovers low.

It worked well, but without Payton at the helm, he's gone back to what he's always been the other 7 seasons of his career.
