2012 Raiders: Carson Palmer started 15/16 games, then he signed with the Cardinals.
2013 Raiders: Terrelle Pryor named opening week starter; he suffered a concussion early and missed a game, then sprained his MCL in November and they had to make do with the QBs on the roster. The next time we saw Pryor in an NFL game, he was catching passes instead of throwing them.
None of that remotely qualifies as turmoil. Those teams suffered from near-total depletion of talent and awful draft/FA decisions.
