Dennis Allen not expecting to make any staff changes going into the Bye

I don’t understand why people fight so hard to get into job positions they have no aptitude for. I see it all the time in IT. Great engineers just have to get into management because “that’s the progression” only to be terrible at it. They become miserable, their team becomes miserable, everyone is miserable.

Dennis Allen gave it a shot twice. He’s bad at it. You can see the stress on his face and the disorganization of the team hints that everyone around him is stressed and frustrated.

He was good enough as a DC that he could do that for a long time in the NFL. If he absolutely has to be a head coach, go coach some mid level division one NCAA team. Dragging his coaches, friends, and players down with him because he just has to coach is a miserable way through life … and shame on the organization that enables him.
