You gotta look at things on a "per game" basis because both the Bills and Bengals on had 16 games last season (neither team went back out after the Demar Hamlin situation). The only thing that was better in 2021 was his sack rate.
so he had 7 more yards passing per game, He still turned it over more and got sacked more, significantly more when adjusted for the per game average.
And he was significantly worse in the red zone in 2022 compared to 2021.
If you look at his career trajectory from 2018-2021 he is a player ascending, and compare it to his trajectory from 2022 - now, Dorsey did NOT make him a better QB.
HOWEVER, I totally agree with your assessment that the Defense is as much or more responsible for the Bills disappointments as the Offense (and Allen's proclivity to turn the ball over) but spinning data to imply he was playing better with Dorsey than he was with Daboll is pissing on me and telling me it's raining.
Allen's play under Deboll got Deboll a head coaching job that he apparently wasn't ready for, Allen's play under Dorsey got Dorsey unjustifiably canned.
