Ken Dorsey to the Saints?

so he had 7 more yards passing per game, He still turned it over more and got sacked more, significantly more when adjusted for the per game average.

And he was significantly worse in the red zone in 2022 compared to 2021.

If you look at his career trajectory from 2018-2021 he is a player ascending, and compare it to his trajectory from 2022 - now, Dorsey did NOT make him a better QB.

HOWEVER, I totally agree with your assessment that the Defense is as much or more responsible for the Bills disappointments as the Offense (and Allen's proclivity to turn the ball over) but spinning data to imply he was playing better with Dorsey than he was with Daboll is pissing on me and telling me it's raining.

Allen's play under Deboll got Deboll a head coaching job that he apparently wasn't ready for, Allen's play under Dorsey got Dorsey unjustifiably canned.
He turned the ball over more but that didn't affect scoring AND they won 3 more games in 2022. I'll give you red zone. There was a significant drop but everything else? Nah...lol.
And he was a play ascending from 2018-2020. He was statically worse in every area in 2021 and he rebounded in 2022. We want to jump on interceptions but his we also ignore the jump in his TD rate. In 2022, he improved in nearly every QB stat and metric that's out there. Drop in red zone and more sacks (because he was throwing the ball further) but anybody could see that jump from 2021 to 2022. You would be hard pressed to find an area that he didn't improve in. I'm not saying Dorsey made him a better QB but what I am saying is he was better with Dorsey in 2022 than he was with Daboll in 2021, and there is no spinning data. Again, we can look at:

-TD rate
-Yards Per Game
-EPA, CPOE, and EPA+CPOE
-AY/A and ANY/A
-Every other metric you could think of
-3rd place in MVP vote
