IMO, George would have pulled the trigger on Santana, but his boys just keep making bad move after bad move, not to mention their comments to the press.

IIRC, wasn't Cano one of the players to be included in the trade, but they didn't want to part with him? George would have and has made those sacrifices before (Soriano) to get what he wanted. Does this fall more on Cashman? I really don't think so cause I have always believed that he was just doing what George allowed him to do ala Al Davis. Shoot, Theo has more power than Cashman.

I've already got my ticket for the Subway Series in Shea and I can't wait. Besides the NO/ATL rivalry, this is my favorite rivalry to be a part of.
