To be fair to the Mets and Twins, I am a Sox fan so I knew the players better who the Yankees and Sox were offering. I don't know to much about the Mets farm league so Minn. very well could have gotton some fine players, and i'm sure they did. I am kinda bias thinking the others offered more simply because I know the players they were offering. Was not to sure who the Mets gave up.

I am in the same situation. I know tons bout the Sox and Yankees farms, but not much about the Mets. From what I read in the media, the Mets were seen as a club who didn't have the farm to get the deal done, and weren't ever considered seriously in the running, since they wouldn't offer a package with Reyes. After the trade happened, many baseball writers said the Twins overplayed their hand and that the reported packages from both the Red Sox and Yankees were both better than what they ended up receiving. Time will tell I guess.
