Maybe Tom wanted Lauscha in his role to possibly prevent Gayle from hiring or being convinced to hire her own person (instead of him) to make the day to day executive decisions?
If Gayle is the “owner,” but is contractually bound via the terms of the trust to keep Lauscha in his role, then doesn’t that sort of indicate she does not have the full scope of power that a sole owner not bound by the terms of a trust would have?
