A decline in investigative media does not help as well. Regardless of city, most newsrooms rinse and repeat the same junk: crime, traffic, and weather, with some sports at the end. I think social media has replaced investigative media and is providing valuable information. Just because nola.com or wwl doesn't cover it doesn't meant it isn't true. We stink and our epic run has been over since Drew left the building.
