Former Jaguars Employee Accused of Stealing $22 Mil over Four Years (mod edit)

Patel is accused of stealing $22,221,454.40 and using some of that money for purchases that include a condominium in Ponte Vedra Beach, a Tesla Model 3 sedan, cryptocurrency, chartering private jets, luxury hotel stays, a country club membership and luxury wrist watches.

Its crazy how how greedy a person can get, like homie could have had a regular house and car and flew 1st class and probably never got caught now he going be in prison for years and in debt forever. Everything he worked hard to steal is now gone forever
Exactly. But once he saw he could steal a couple hundred thousand without anyone noticing he decided to go hard or go home, or in this case, prison.

And here's the deal, his job probably paid really, really well. To have that position in the NFL I'm sure he wasn't hurting. So instead of just being plain ol really well off and never have to worry about money, now he'll be bartering smuggled goods for the next several years.

I actually knew a guy who was skimming union money. He was the treasurer and he was a good dude except for the fact that he was stealing. He started off small but then he started taking more and more. Of course he got caught but instead of doing any time he decided to opt out. One bad decision can snowball into a disaster.
