Derek Carr practiced today.

I'm just worried about his long-term health and outlook after he gets out of football, same as I was with Tua last season, same as I have been with Olave. Getting concussions close together is never a good thing.
Exactly...I said that when it first happened. We all can have a good internet tussle and laugh when talking about players but with what we know about concussions, it is not about "being tough" considering everyone's brain is different and these things can affect people differently, whether short term or long term. It's not even like he has to be the one who has to look over their shoulders for a job. We've pretty much married ourselves to him for 2 years. I thought it would have been better for him to rest a week and then come back but hey, I guess DA, Carr, and medical know best.
