The draft is a lottery, always has been, always will be. The Saints do the best they can but at the end of the day it is all a crapshoot.

The 32nd pick of the 2017 NFL draft is a perfect example.

Reuben Foster, the guy the Saints originally wanted, is a bust.

Ryan Ramcyzk, the guy the Saints "settled" for, had a three year run as the best Right Tackle in the league.
